La Cátedra Cabernet Sauvignon is an Argentine red wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from General Alvear, Mendoza. Its manual harvest, carried out at the end of April, allows the selection of grapes at their optimal ripeness to produce a wine with good structure, aromatic intensity, and varietal character.
It shows a deep ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of blackberries, cassis, and plum stand out, accompanied by subtle notes of green pepper, black pepper, tobacco, and bell pepper, characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with firm tannins and good aging potential. Its finish is long, with the presence of ripe black fruits, spices, and a delicate touch of cedar.
It is an excellent choice to accompany red meats, roasts, ribs, spiced dishes, pasta with rich sauces, mature cheeses, and boldly flavored foods.
