La Cátedra Malbec is an Argentine red wine made from 100% Malbec grapes from General Alvear, Mendoza. Its hand-harvest, carried out during the last week of April, allows for a careful selection of the grapes to preserve the natural expression of the variety.
It shows an attractive ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe red and black fruits stand out, such as cherry, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by the typical character of Argentine Malbec. On the palate, it offers a smooth entry, with balanced tannins, good acidity, and a fruity texture, finishing with a slightly spicy note.
It’s an excellent choice to pair with red meats, pasta with rich sauces, empanadas, semi-hard cheeses, snack platters, and traditional Argentine dishes.
